Golden goodie bag for one lucky visitor at 2023 Mallusk Christmas Market unveiled

Mallusk Enterprise Park will open its doors to support over 20 local entrepreneurs, 3 charities and provide free Santa Grotto visits to 100 local children on the evening of Wednesday 29 November. 
 
The local businesses and enterprises showcasing their locally made products and services at the pop up festive Market include local artists Dionne Pollock, Janine Dempster, Barbara Allen, Michelle Fullerton and Anne Adams, who will feature their individual pieces alongside crafters Moneyvart Ceramics, Ed’s WoodTurning, Hugable Bears and fashion and accessories pet brand Electric Pup. 
 
Also trading on the night will be local creatives – Larne author Hilary Bailey of Skye Springer who will feature her Skye’s Waggy Tales book and Helpful Little Pictures who produce visual aids. Florist and Visual Merchandisers Quirky Kitten and Lisabella Flowers will add colour to the event and market revellers can purchase homemade buns, cakes and marshmallows from Heavenly Delights NI, The Beaten Whisk, Quirky Cakes by Elaine and Tinholt’s Tasties.
 
Monkstown Butchers and Deli will feature local food artisans, Ballylisk Chutney Suki Tea, Carolyn Stewart’s Totally Hot brand of Carribean Pickle and Pineapple Chill Products, Tom and Ollie Tapenade and Pesto and Tsang Sauces. 
 
The line up also includes Fix My Crown by Joanne Campbell, Wee Maisies hand poured diffusers, Calm Releaf, locally grown microgreens by AuSome GrowSome CIC and Belfast Artisan Distillery who will be promoting their range of award winning Gin, Vodka and their onsite Distillery tours.
 
Mallusk Enterprise Park, a social enterprise with charitable status, has been supporting local entrepreneurs to start up and grow since 1992 and a number of the local entrepreneurs trading at the Market include tenants of the enterprise centre as well as mentees of various business programmes provided by the team of business advisers employed by the local enterprise agency.
 
CEO Emma Garrett who unveiled the golden goodie bag shopper incentive which aims to encourage high levels of footfall to the event said:

All treats in the Golden Goodie bag have been donated by local entrepreneurs and businesses. One lucky visitor to the Mallusk Christmas Market 2023 will walk away with 4 individual spa packages for the newly opened Halcyon Spa at Kingfisher Country Estate to include a treatment up to the value of £85 and 2 hours access to the new Hydro spa at Templepatrick worth an additional £40 each, a bottle of pineapple and blood orange gin liquor by Belfast Artisan Distillery worth £25, Framed Art by Dionne Polloick featuring the Harland and Wolff cranes worth £75,Belleek Living Pottery worth over £90 donated by Watson & Co. Chartered Marketing, a £40 gift voucher for Monkstown Butchers and Deli donated by Gavin White of True Potentiala handmade Christmas door wreath by the Quirky Kitten, a family pass to the Enchanted Winter Garden at Antrim Castle Gardens and a £25 gift voucher for the new B Social Deli at Mallusk Enterprise Park.

 

All visitors to the Market in the Newtownabbey business park on the evening of 29 November can enter the draw for the chance to win the golden goodie bag. There will be a treasure hunt style entry process to encourage all visitors to the Market to visit all 3 of the indoor locations hosting the local entrepreneurs. The winner will be chosen at random by tenant of Mallusk Enterprise Park DJ Craig Dalzell at the official closing of the event in the Mallusk Enterprise Hub at 8pm.
Prize draw rules apply, entry is for adults over the age of 18, one entry per person and entries will be accepted on site at Mallusk enterprise hub between 5pm and 7.45pm only. Entry forms can be picked up at the new B Social Deli.
 
The Market also offers visitors complimentary festive food and drink, a raffle in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and the Mallusk Enterprise Hub will be a handy drop off point for food and drink supplies for the Newtownabbey Food Bank and toy gifts to support the Mission Christmas Appeal by Cash for Kids NI.
