Whether you are new to LinkedIn or have developed a very basic LinkedIn Profile, this course is for you. During this 3-hour session you will develop an understanding of:
1. Navigating LinkedIn
2. What content is appropriate for a LinkedIn profile.
3. Personalising your LinkedIn address
4. Following interesting people
5. Social proofing and Growing Connections
6. Posting interesting content
7. Gaining recommendations and skills
Preparation – what you need before you arrive:
- You should have already registered with LinkedIn and know your log on and password!
- A picture for your profile, and picture for your cover.
- A laptop with Wi-Fi capability (so you can connect directly to the internet and the full LinkedIn site, NOT via the App).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The LinkedIn App does not have the same functionality as the LinkedIn website, therefore, you will not be able to do everything we talk about during our session if not working through the LinkedIn website. Because of this, a mobile phone with a small screen it is not ideal.
2. You will have access to free Wi-Fi during training.
