With three staff members, including Bella the border collie, local lawn care and garden services business Premier Lawns, founded by Greenmount Agricultural College Graduate and Sports Turf Science Expert Robbie Lynn, has been growing since 2013.

Apart from helping customers across greater Belfast achieve luscious green lawns the local entrepreneur also runs a successful YouTube channel to share his wide span of lawn knowledge.

With over 200 videos and in excess of 73,600 subscribers the Newtownabbey based horticulturist has racked up over 14 million views on his popular YouTube channel @Premier_Lawns_Official

Premier Lawns was founded by Robbie Lynn nearly ten years ago.

On starting up the local entrepreneur says:

“Having a passion for and depth of experience in lawns and fine turf, I decided I wanted to focus my efforts on running my own business and passing my knowledge and experience onto my customers – and Premier Lawns was born.”

Now, having successfully ran his company for over a decade and completing an HNC in Business & Marketing and a few other short courses to help him along the way, Robbie Lynn says, honestly: “I love what I do.”

The commercial sustainability of Premier Lawns was strengthened even more with the help of recent expert guidance. Through the OPTIMAL growth support programme the business was able to benefit from HR and general business advice.

Founder Robbie Lynn highlights how the OPTIMAL programme was, in his words,

“a fantastic experience” with ‘”Brilliant help on the HR/hiring staff side of the business”.

Robbie Lynn began his career as a Greenkeeper working on some of Northern Ireland’s most prestigious golf courses including Clandeboye Golf Club making Lynn and his team highly knowledgeable on various lawn types. The expert Premier Lawns team tailor their skills to the specific lawn care needs of their established and growing client base and run with the motto: ‘We don’t just cut grass – we manicure lawns’. With this motto, it is clear that this locally owned and run company takes professional lawn care and gardening services seriously.
