Crafters and food artisans across Antrim and Newtownabbey are being offered a retail space to promote and sell their products inside the B Social Deli at Mallusk Enterprise Park.
Peak seasonal retail opportunities such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas are all being offered to local entrepreneurs on a first come, first served basis.
The new social enterprise coffee shop has already trialled two successful pop up retail events featuring the product ranges of ‘Fix My Crown’ and ‘Belfast Artisan Distillery’.
Emma Garrett, CEO of Mallusk Enterprise Park, which runs as a social enterprise with charitable status and launched the new B Social Deli offering in December 2023, said:
“As an enterprise agency Mallusk Enterprise Park has been supporting local entrepreneurs to set up and grow their businesses for over 30 years. As well as offering mentoring, training, accommodation and meeting and event spaces for these business owners and their employees our team are committed to offering new and innovative ways to help them showcase and sell their products.
Our new B Social Deli will act as a welcoming and safe space for our local entrepreneurs to retail from. A pop up event to help them to taste test new products, promote their offerings, acquire new customers and make sales.
With the increased cost of living we call on everyone to try and support, more than ever, our local entrepreneurs and businesses in their purchasing decisions this year and look forward to featuring more exciting brands in the months ahead.”
The pop up retail experiences are being hosted during the cafe opening hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm and should each run for a minimum duration of 2 hours.
