Launch of Mallusk Christmas Market

Mallusk Christmas Market 2024:  Celebrate, Shop, and Support Local.

Join us for a magical evening at the Mallusk Christmas Market on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, from 4pm to 8pm. This year’s event promises a festive transformation of Mallusk Enterprise Park, with over 20 unique stalls and a pop-up Santa’s Grotto, offering an ideal opportunity to pick up handmade gifts and support the local business community as we count down to Christmas.

Organised by Mallusk Enterprise Park, Newtownabbey’s Enterprise Agency, the Market brings together an array of local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and social enterprises, all showcasing their products and services to the public. This is a fantastic chance to support local makers and experience the vibrant talent within the community.

Expect a wide selection of local crafts, foods, and seasonal novelties, all crafted by independent creators. Alongside these one-of-a-kind finds, visitors can enjoy festive treats, and drinks available for purchase from B Social Deli, our on-site social enterprise coffee shop. Plus, live music from local DJ and Mallusk Enterprise Park tenant, Craig Dalzell, founder of Audio Level DJ Store, will add to the festive atmosphere. Young guests will also delight in a free Santa’s Grotto experience kindly supported by neighbouring Hendersons Food Services.

This special event will support three meaningful local causes. A raffle benefiting the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice offers shoppers a chance to win generous prizes donated by participating businesses. In addition, attendees are encouraged to bring food donations for the Newtownabbey Food Bank and toys for the Mission Christmas appeal, helping make the season brighter for families in need.

Located within the Business Advice Centre and the Enterprise Hub at Mallusk Enterprise Park, the Market is free to attend and open to all from 4pm to 8pm.

Emma Garrett, CEO of Mallusk Enterprise Park, shared:

“Our 2024 Mallusk Christmas Market is all about coming together to celebrate and support our local businesses and community. We’re thrilled to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase their hard work and creativity, with many stepping out for the first time to share their products with the public. This event also aligns with our commitment to helping our community thrive, and we’re proud to offer an accessible, festive experience for families.”

Geraldine Robinson, Finance and Facilities Manager at Mallusk Enterprise Park, added:
