We are seeking an Enterprise Officer

We are looking for an Enterprise Officer to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our organisation’s mission to foster the growth of local businesses and entrepreneurs. As an Enterprise Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting start-ups and small businesses to thrive.

FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development Support:
    • Provide one-on-one guidance and support to pre-start and start-up businesses.
    • Assist clients in developing comprehensive business plans, financial forecasts, and effective marketing strategies.
    • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging business opportunities and industry trends.
  2. Marketing Activities:
    • Develop and execute marketing plans for our organisation.
    • Create engaging and compelling content for our website, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
    • Collaborate in organising and promoting events, workshops, and networking opportunities to enhance business growth.
  3. Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
    • Assist in managing administrative tasks related to client onboarding and program reporting.
    • Efficiently coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings with clients.
  4. Training and Workshops:
    • Assist in planning and delivering engaging training sessions and workshops for entrepreneurs.
    • Offer valuable support to clients in areas such as business development, financial management, and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • A 3rd level qualification in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • A passion for entrepreneurship and small business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with business-related software applications.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
